What is a label code and what is it for?
Every music label operating in Germany and Europe has it's own label code. The label code is a number that identifies the label.
If music should be played on radio the label code is the needed for charging every minute broadcasted. The radio station will pay money for every broadcasted minute to the GVL (German organisation for controlling broadcasted music) and the GVL will spread out the money to the labels based on the label code.
Without a label code no radio station will play your music.
